RSI Logistics Announces the Acquisition of Specialized Transportation Service

RSI Logistics, Inc. (RSI) is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Specialized Transportation Service (“STS”) with operations in Portland, Oregon. The new company will operate under the name of STS Intermodal, LLC.

STS has been a leader in the Pacific Northwest in performing bulk intermodal trucking, storage, and maintenance and repair services. With this acquisition, STS will continue to operate seamlessly which includes existing equipment, labor and management. Jana Corder will continue in her role as the General Manager of the Portland operations.

STS has been providing bulk liquid intermodal services to the Pacific Northwest out of their facility in Portland, Oregon, for the past 12 years. STS operates lightweight tractors, both sleepers and day-cabs, and chassis for transporting ISO tanks and box containers. All drivers are hazmat certified. The intermodal depot is 6 acres. Container lifts, flexi-tank service, loaded and empty storage, including hazardous and non-hazardous, is provided.
