The Canadian Pacific (CP) has released an update concerning the fires taking place in British Columbia, Canada, near Lytton. The mainline outage is now cleared, and crews are remaining on site in the British Columbia interior conducting repair work on affected tracks.
The CP has put in place a safe and orderly startup plan for traffic to move through the site. However, the backlog of shipments is significant, and relieving the backlog while simultaneously ensuring safe movement of shipments means customers should expect delays of 72 to 96 hours from start up.
