RSI monitors public tariffs and tracks changes. This is represented here in our Tariff Change Summary dashboard. The Tariff Change dashboard can be viewed as Historical Tariff Change, Most Recent Tariff Change, and Tariff Change Distribution. Each dashboard has different options that allow you to edit the graph.
Rate Change Survey
Utilizing surveys of rail shipping organizations, RSI collects data concerning rail freight rates. With the survey responses, we are able to provide insight into rail freight rate changes and railroad behavior experienced from a shipper’s perspective. This allows rail shippers to benchmark themselves against survey responses from rail shippers of similar commodities!
