Rail freight invoice reconciliation is a costly, labor intensive and difficult if not impossible task for most companies.   Customers that use our online rail management system, RSInet, can obtain automated freight accrual reports.
• Prepayment audit
  On a daily basis RSI receives freight bills via EDI from the carriers. RSI matches the billing data to the shipment data. Incorrect billing data is flagged and submitted to the carriers for correction prior to payment. RSI follows up with the carriers until billing disputes are resolved. RSI will defend the customer in carrier billing disputes for up to 3 years after the billing date.
• Freight payment
  RSI establishes a process to receive electronic fund transfers from the customer. RSI electronically submits payment to the carriers after the prepayment audit is completed. RSI will defend the customer in carrier billing disputes for up to 3 years after the billing date.
• Post audit
  RSI can provide post audit services for customers not using our prepayment audit or freight payment services.
