Eaglebrook has long been very aware of the importance that transportation represents to their business. Today, Eaglebrook utilizes bulk truckload and rail to source and deliver many of their water treatment chemicals. Eaglebrook's adherence to service and cost is evident in their heavy reliance on their extensive fleet of company owned and operated bulk trucks that make many of the final deliveries to their customers. Eaglebrook utilizes a network of bulk transfer terminals that are well-positioned to optimize cost and allow for local truckload deliveries to their customer base.

In 2001, Eaglebrook began working with RSI to rekindle the operations of a former RSI operated terminal. The “new” terminal provided Eaglebrook a strategic advantage over their competitors. The terminal is well positioned in the marketplace, and offered the flexibility and competitiveness of being serviced by two Class I rail carriers. Additionally, RSI demonstrated a great working relationship with the Eaglebrook company drivers, by providing them the flexibility to maximize the amount of turns within their hours of service limitations.

From a transactional standpoint, all orders and shipments are managed through RSI's RSInet web-based inventory application. At any point in time, Eaglebrook personnel can view the current active and in route inventory by products and/or rail car. For loaded inbound cars, the rail Car Location Message (CLM) is displayed, denoting the estimated placement date for each car.
