RSI Logistics Inc. Renews Contract With Westway Holdings Corporation

OKEMOS, MI, May 26, 2005 – RSI Logistics, Inc., a third party bulk logistics provider has renewed its service agreement with New Orleans, LA based Westway Trading Corporation.

Under the evergreen agreement, RSI Logistics will perform rail rate administration and negotiation activities on behalf of the company. RSI Logistics will also continue to provide the RSInet shipment management application to Westway. RSInet provides EDI billing, track and trace visibility, service log support, freight accruals, as well as many other features that are being used by Westway on a daily basis.

Westway's Director of Logistics, Scott Rome indicates, “RSI has helped with giving us data on route lines that we are able to use when negotiating with the railroads.  They also handle all rate requests that come in from our sales personnel.  With 33 terminals, we get about 10 requests a week of which only about 10% get published.  RSI keeps all of our rail contracts current and helps in developing a strategy.  With all of the time saved by RSI handling the above issues, we are able to focus our time on growing the business and becoming more efficient.”

“With using RSInet we were able to free up time which enabled us to focus on our fleet utilization.  With the old system, we were going to each railroad's website to EDI the cars and then re-enter them in our system.  Now with RSI, we have the ability to input the data in one location and everyone is informed, customers and railroads.  With the old system we did not have a maintenance package and were handling that using spreadsheets and car company websites.  Now all of the car information and maintenance schedules are in RSInet.  Another plus is that RSInet is web-based and can be accessed from anywhere.  Our customers are able to get into the system, place orders, and see the cars that are enroute to them with ETA's, this cuts out much of the phone calls that we were receiving from our customers.”
